Meet Dr. Joshua Korman
Before establishing the Plastic Surgeons Institute in Mountain View and Monterey, California, Dr. Joshua Korman received his Bachelor’s Degree (with distinction in all subjects) and Medical Degree from Cornell University where he graduated at the top of his class (Alpha Omega Alpha). He completed his plastic surgery residency at Stanford University, and furthered his education and experience with fellowships at Canniesburn hospital in Glasgow, Scotland, and a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Miami, Florida. He has taught at Stanford University for 20 years and is currently Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor. With a desire to give back to the community, Dr. Korman began the Clean Slate program in San Jose, California that gives former gang members the opportunity to rebuild their lives by removing tattoos that represent their past. Dr. Korman also volunteers his time with Breast Cancer Connections in Palo Alto, to educate breast cancer patients on their options for breast reconstruction. He also has extensive experience working as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in developing countires.
