"Facelift" is a term which has a wide variety of interpretations. Mini facelift, modified facelift and complete facelift are terms which are widely publicized but often confusion. Dr. Korman's facelift involves lifting the face and neck in combination to address jowls, and skin excess. The procedure involves lifting and rejuvenating the supporting layers of the face and neck including the muscles . It also involves liposuction of portions of the neck and jowls if that is necessary. The facelift is often combined with a browlift (designed to lift the brow and highest portion of the face) and/or eyelid lifts. A "modified" or "mini" lift is done in only a few selected situations. Recovery is two to three weeks.
